Maple Court Transitional Housing Program
Maple Court, located in Durham, North Carolina, provides 24 units of transitional housing to homeless veterans from eastern and central North Carolina. Veterans can remain in the program for up to 2 years.
Operated in conjunction with the local VA Medical Center, this program provides veterans with all the services required to attain and maintain self-sufficiency in the community. Services are provided by both community providers and the VA.
Services include case management, life skills training, job readiness and placement assistance, mental health and substance abuse care, medical care, and assistance with securing permanent housing.

The Oaks at Sumner Avenue (aka Olympia)
The Oaks at Sumner Avenue, located in North Charleston, South Carolina, provides 18 one-bedroom apartment units for individuals with mental illness. Case management services are provided for the residents through the Dorchester County Mental Health Association. Ten units are set aside for persons who, upon admission, are chronically homeless.
